We also offer designated dog-friendly bedrooms across our Classic and Superior categories for a modest flat fee of £20 per stay (covering deep cleaning).

Where do hotel and dining guests park in Cirencester?

The Kings Head is located in the pedestrian-friendly Market Place. While we do not have an on-site private car park due to our 14th-century heritage location, ample council pay-and-display car parks are situated within a 2- to 4-minute level walk:

  • The Forum Car Park (South Way, GL7 2NX) — 3 minutes away.
  • Waterloo Car Park (Waterloo, GL7 2PY) — 4 minutes away.
  • Brewery Car Park (Brewery Court, GL7 1HN) — 4 minutes away.

Guests may pull into the Market Place loading zones briefly to drop luggage before parking.

What are your dining service hours throughout the week?

Our kitchen serves seasonal British cuisine across the following daily schedules:

  • Breakfast: Monday to Sunday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Brunch & Lunch: Monday to Saturday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Dinner: Monday to Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

The bar remains open for artisan coffee, real ales, wines, and cocktails from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM.

Is the historic building accessible for guests with limited mobility?

The Kings Head seamlessly combines historic architecture with modern accessibility. The ground floor pub, brasserie, mezzanine Lavender Hall, and subterranean Vaulted Cellar and Wine Cellar are all fully accessible via our modern passenger lift. While some bedrooms feature step access due to original 14th-century architectural timbers, we have accessible bedrooms available upon advance request.
